We have placed utmost importance in the selection and preparation of ingredients by sourcing them from locations such as Chickmangulur, Hosur, Mysore, and Bangalore. We go to the extent of making pure ghee from scratch to give the extra sizzle to the taste.
Our specialty lies in our unique recipes accentuated with blend of flavors and spices imported from the farms in Karnataka. Each and every ingredient in the making of our food is carefully selected and assembled, so much so that we even make our own house-made ghee (clarified butter).
We take pride in serving freshly made food to our customers, and therefore, all our dishes are prepared upon order. We do not use any artificial colors or preservatives in our food. We also cater to dietary restrictions and offer gluten-free and vegan options.

Food - really good authentic vegetarian food. I had ordered the ‘Business Lunch’ thali which has 3 different types of rice. I always go for a thali wherever I see it on a menu, this way you get to sample an array of dishes in one go. Service - it was fairly quick given how packed the place was when we dined. Service was at par with my expectations for this place. Atmosphere - it is what it is. It must have been a restaurant prior to this place so you can gauge the layout and how it has been re setup for current purpose. Tables and chairs are very tight. Personally would have preferred little bit more brightness. Overall - will return when in the area again
We had an amazing experience at this place. We came from Toronto and enjoyed the Bangalore Dosa so much as we don’t really get it there .

Our first visit to Malgudi cafe was an awesome experience. It is a hidden gem with delicious homemade-style food and a good selection of dishes. The service was great and we felt at home. We will definitely be back.
This was my first time there and my mind is blown!!!! We had idli, vada, Filter coffee and Bangalore Masala dosa with Pudi. ,Best dosa ever!!! Amazing filter coffee. Service could have been faster but that maybe attributed to effort behind this high quality food. Any real dosa lover has to try this place. Staff is extremely courteous and well behaved. Will definitely go again.

Authentic Karnataka dishes. Very humble people and had good time having dining in.
Very tasty food but expensive. And take out did not include everything (dessert) as they advertised on the website. So first impression is very disappointing.
Food was good. May be my expectations were more. Ambience was good. Staff was very helpful and had a good attitude. The only thing i didn't like is the server was pushy about leaving a google review. I understand every business wants a good google ratings but please don’t push customers for it. Customer will leave a review if they want to. Also, please ask the customer ‘Do you want a receipt’ after customer makes the payment.
